On October 31 there was great joy at Church of the Apostles in Faro, Yukon. Father John Vines was installed as pastor.
The town of Faro (population: 400) has a pastor after waiting and praying for 12 years.
The church has been served by a priest once a month, but now has the joy of their own priest.
Fr. Vines had served St. Ann’s Church in Watson Lake over the last 10 years.
On the eve of All Saints you could hear the joyful chorus of the heavenly host join the voices of the small Catholic community, in praise and thanks to God.
